Jeffrey T. Meynig, MD. FACS

Jeffrey T. Meynig is a native Texan, born in Beaumont in 1963, as the youngest of three children.  He attended Lamar University before being accepted into the medical school at the University of Texas at Houston.  His Surgical Internship and Residency were completed at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston and Brackenridge Hospital in Austin.  He began his surgical practice in Austin in 1994.

Dr. Meynig is certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society.  His particular interests include laparoscopic surgery, breast surgery and surgical oncology.

He and wife, Lorie, have four children, Christopher, Courtney, Douglas and Andrew.  He enjoys sports, outdoor activities, horses and, most of all, spending time with his wife and children.  He is a member of Church of the Hills in Cedar Park, and one of his greatest satisfactions comes from honoring God with his life and surgical practice.
