Mark Lindsey, MD, FACS

Dr. Lindsey was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in Austin, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 from the University of Texas at Austin. He attended medical school in San Antonio at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. After completing his general surgery training in 2005 at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas he joined Austin Surgeons.

Dr. Lindsey is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, the Parkland Surgical Society and the American Hernia Society. His areas of interest include laparoscopic surgery, endocrine surgery, breast surgery, colorectal surgery and hernia repairs.

His wife Carrie is an orthodontist and practices in Austin. They have two children. He enjoys playing and following sports, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
